These bands are thin and easily break. I replaced them with better elastic bands I had for my cotton masks. However, the shape of the masks makes them more breathable. The ear straps were securely attached and the curvature of the ear pads to the nose and chin allowed air to flow smoothly, preventing fogging up my glasses. The design is comfortable and easy to use, with plenty of room for my nose and mouth and a secure fit that avoids gaps. The mask is also breathable and suitable for long grocery trips and outings, even for someone who prefers to breathe through their mouth. While my wife thought it was a bit small at first, I found the fit to be perfect and the heat and dampness I experienced with other masks were not required.

I have become accustomed to wearing masks all day, so most of them don’t cause me any inconvenience. However, some N95 masks are much worse than others. This one is particularly comfortable, as the cone shape keeps it away from your mouth when you speak. The rubber band is also more durable than the other 3M N95 with a yellow rubber band. It does not have a valve, which protects both the wearer and others. After trying various N95s, our family ultimately chose this type.
